Because community is more than a place—it’s feeling seen, supported, and included.

Supported Living

When you choose supported living, you’re choosing to live independently, safe and secure behind your own front door.

This includes people living with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, mental health diagnoses and physical disabilities. Our service practices an outcome based approach to care and support, putting our service users in the centre of all decisions and empowering them to achieve their ambitions, maximise their capabilities and skills, with the reassurance of having consistent support workers along with them on their journey.

At the core of our service, we aim to;

  • Deliver high-quality person-centred, outcome-based care to all our service users

  • Build trust, showcase integrity and empower individuals in our care

  • Partnership working with all stake holders in the individual’s life, and professionalism in care

  • Be forward thinking and innovative

  • Improve quality of life

Our service provides a comprehensive support solution that will be tailored where necessary to best suit the individual needs of each of our service users. The list of activities below represents the key areas of support we will be offering our service users:

  • Help with basic domestic chores

  • Accessing leisure and social activities

  • Support with cooking meals

  • Assistance with personal budgeting

  • Helping with claiming and managing benefits

  • Maintaining links with family and friends

  • Help with finding daytime activities and employment/voluntary work

  • Encouraging healthy lifestyles

  • Support in maintaining tenancy

  • Support in taking medication

  • Positive behavioural support planning

  • Intensive interaction

  • Reducing restrictive practices through a holistic approach to  mental capacity assessments, risk assessments and care and support planning

We provide just the right amount of support to help each service user develop a life in the community. Our team of experienced and highly trained professionals are here to help each person reach their full potential.

Support will usually be paid for by the Local Authority, although service users can also purchase this privately (or control their own budget if they have a personal budget or personal health budget). We can also help support service users to find other funding, for example to help access benefits and grants that they may be entitled to for living independently.
